Today I exhibited at The East Atlanta Strut.  It was a very nice festival, but I was in a bad location it was at the end and not where alot of the traffic was. I think I would do it again next year, but I will definitely get a early application next year. The parade was some what interesting.

Friday September 17th

Tonight me and some of the Bazaar Noir vendors are vending at 595 it is a club in Atlanta, GA. Every month DJ Kemit and his wife Mrs. Rashied have a themed party, this month was Chicago Soul. My favorite was old school hip hop and one time they had Native Tongue. www.experiencespreadlove.com. Here are some pics from the evening.

Wednesday September 15th

Today I went to have a meeting with my friend Marjorie. I am always vending at some event and on the hustle but when it comes to online market sales I need help LOL :-)  Marjorie is very online savy and teaching me different ways to market online, she even got me started with this blog and twitter. She showed me how people use You Tube to market and advertise there businesses I was amazed. ( LOL doesn't this description entry sound like I was using my first day at school voice LOL) :-)

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 11, 2010

Saturday was my friends Marjorie Birthday/House warming Garden Party. I don't have any pictures bcuz she didn't want to take any. LOL smile as your reading this Marjorie :-)  The scene was like something out of Better Homes and Garden and tranquil and serene backyard setting with clear holiday lights and red paper laterns and a white tent and white chairs just fabulous. It was simply relaxing. GREAT FOOD the Vegan Potatoe Salad and Lemonade was bagging wooooo!!!!!

Soon it was time to hustle and get to grind land.  O I forgot to mention in early that I now sell FELA NYC- FRESH FROM AFRICA Documentary DVD.  

My New York contact was in town.  He is the Representative for the Producer of the Documentary. He contacted me earlier in the day and told about several events going on to sell the DVD . First there was an event at the SW Cultural Center a Poet from Detroit was speaking. We sold about 6 DVDs when the show was over. Then we went over to Dargan Place in the West End they were having an Ethiopian New Years Celebration. I knew alot of people inside they weren't to much of the buying crowd :-)I sold only 2 DVDs. Then we went over to Soul Veg, the Brotha wanted to stop and say hello to the DJ that was playing at the Hebrew Israelites event. He had informed him of the events earlier in the evening, after that I dropped the Brotha back at his hotel and that was it. After I got home I completely crashed zzzzzzzzzz......

September 6 Labor Day

On Monday my friend Moneek had a potluck/cookout at her house. We had a really good time. After eating we played adults vs. kids in Volley ball YEEAAA.  Then we went back for more food came back outside and had a dance a thon in the front yard from HIP HOP to Island sounds reminiscing of past of Labor Days on Eastern Parkway at the Carribean Day Parade. We had a blast.

This was my first year vending at HITP. I was excited about the booth space iwould retrieve in the morning because it was first come first serve YEAA!!!! We got the spot the had 3 different directions perfect, until people started blocking our booth because we were directly across from the DJ. But I shoooeed the non shoppers away from the front of the booth. :-) HITP is a Family Fun DAY, everyone comes out and brings the kids, grills, blankets and everything and have a good day and enjoy the music.

On today I went over to RAYNAS she was giving an end of the summer pool party. We had a blast it has been a long time since everyone got together due to everyones busy schedules. We had potluck that always works. LOL LOL.

Hamilton Ave., East Point, Atlanta, GA and one Saturday one of my friends Attallah Pamoja stopped by and hung out with us for awhile. O what fun you have after just one visit. LOL LOL LOL :-)
